Elements of our strategy:

  • Article 15 of the Rule of the Secular Franciscan Order states:
    • Let them individually and collectively be in the forefront in promoting justice by the testimony of their human lives and their courageous initiatives.
  • In keeping with the Franciscan charism, the AHTC seeks to develop and maintain relationships that will lead to either the creation of and/or support of courageous initiatives to combat the evil of modern day slavery.
  • As part of the parish’s Franciscan Action and Advocacy efforts, the AHTC advises the Pastor and Friars, along with the Parish Council about human trafficking-related issues.
